| Abstract: | The General History of Suzhou is an important work to enhance the soft power of regional culture in the background of national rejuvenation,and has a very distinct value of the times and a strong integrated significance of cultural construction.Its compilation and publication follow the basic laws of historical research,conform to the development trend of historical research,and is the inevitable academic and cultural phenomenon of Suzhou regional historical and cultural research accumulation and development in the new era,which realizes the academic dream of several generations of scholars in Suzhou.The innovation consciousness of the academic team runs through the whole process.The scholars try their best to excavate new historical materials,provide new ideas in each volume of the chronological history,and achieve the goal of innovation in many aspects. |
