| 摘 要： | 清代 ,随着全国经济的发展 ,一向被世人认为是蛮夷之地的怀化 ,其经济也得到了较快发展 ,尤其是水路交通便利的沅水流域及其支流沿岸 ,一批商业市镇迅速崛起 ,从而带动了怀化商业的发展 ;怀化商人开始活跃起来 ,并逐渐发展成为一支具有较强实力的商人队伍。
