| 摘 要： | 作为最具代表性的美国华裔作家，谭恩美在第一部小说《喜福会》中探讨了文化身份问题，并揭示了她对文化身份这一问题的深刻理解。在作品中，谭恩美讲述了四位华人母亲和美国女儿之间的冲突以及和解的故事，深刻地揭示了母女们文化身份认同的过程。笔者紧扣文化身份这一主题，尝试应用霍米巴巴的“第三空间”理论以及他对文化身份认同和杂合性概念的阐述，对母女们的文化身份认同过程进行解读，意在为《喜福会》的研究提供一个新的思路和视角，同时，也为华裔和其他移民或族裔群体在全球化背景下的文化身份构建提供一定的启示。

| Abstract: | Amy Tan, as one of the representatives of Chinese American writers, explores the identi- ty issues in her first novel The Joy Luck Club and shows her thoughtful understanding of cultural identity. Tan depicts the process of identification by telling the stories about generational conflicts and reconcilia- tions of four Chinese immigrant mothers and their American - born daughters. Based oil Homi Bhabha＇ s theory ＂the third space＂ and his interpretation of identification and hybridity, this paper analyzes the identification of the mothers and daughters by applying, offering a new perspective to the study of Amy Tan and understanding of cultural identity of the Chinese Americans and other immigrants or ethnic grouos with different cultural backgrounds in the context of globalization. |
