| 摘 要： | 英语在中国的传播带有帝国性质,然而在全球化背景下英语的广泛传播已将世界变成了名副其实的英语地球村,英语使中国能够作为地球村的一员共享人类文明成果。因此,在意识到英语帝国性的同时分析英语对我国经济发展、语言文化以及科学技术领域产生的积极影响,并进一步得出如何解决英语帝国性和英语对我国社会发展所产生的积极影响之间的矛盾,对我国社会发展有着不可忽略的实际意义。

| Abstract: | The prevailing diffusion of English under the globalization environment has turned the world into an English global village.English enables China,as a member of this village,to share the achievements of civilizations the world over,but the spread of English in China also brings with it linguistic imperialism.So,the thorough analysis of English roles in Chinese economic development,language and culture,and science and technology;and based on it,getting implications that would allow us to transcend both English global village and English imperialism have practical significance to Chinese social development. |
