| 摘 要： | 从语言功能看可译性问题是一个行之有效的方法。语言的认知表达功能决定了语言之间的总体可译性，语言的文化功能决定了语言之间的相对不可译性，而语言的美学功能决定了语言之间的绝对不可译性。本文从《红楼梦》选段再看可译性的语言功能观，认为翻译中可译性是相对的，翻译可译性有天生的限度。

| Abstract: | It's an effective method to study translatability from the point of language function. The cognitive and expressive function forms the basis of general translatability between languages while the cultural and the aesthetic functions are the causes of untranslatability. This paper reconsiders this method through the analysis of one passage from "Hong Lou Meng" and holds that only relative translatability is in existence for there is a natural limitation to the translatability in translation. |
