| 摘 要： | 外语教学与语言能力、交际能力的关系是相辅相成，不可偏废的。从外语学习的角度来看，学习外语既是为了掌握其语言知识，更重要的是为了掌握这一交际工具，同时也需要学习和了解其化。因此，在外语教学中，不仅要注意言形式的正确，还要重视语言运用的是否恰当，只有这样，才能促进语言能力和交际能力的共同提高。本着重论述了外语教学中语言知识与交际能力的关系并对提高学生的交际能力提出建议。这对适应当前新形势下的外语教学具有重要现实意义。
