| Abstract: | The poetry takes possession of the world by verses which can reaveal the world in images.In the West,the imagery theory developed later than its Chinese counterpart and was influenced by it.This paper mainly discusses the concept of Western "image"and concludes some important viewpoints of Western imagery theory. |
