| 摘 要： | 从概念的视角阐释高水平大学的内涵与本质特征。通过理论分析，文章认为高水平大学是一个比较性、精神性、学术性与发展性的概念。高水平大学的本质特征主要体现为：在本质上是绝对性与相对性的统一，在内涵上体现了个人价值与社会价值的统一，在价值上体现了社会性与教育性的统一，在发展过程上体现了理想性与现实性的统一，在发展层次上体现了宏观性与微观性的统一，在政策抉择上体现了合目的性与合规律性的统一。
