| Abstract: | In the theory of error-correcting codes, most of the block codes have algebraic structures of their own. But convolutional codes has no algebraic struc- ture for itself. This paper investigated several convolutional encoders in common use and proved that all the convolutional codes generated by these encoders and the submodule of the module with integer ring. |
