| 摘 要： | 在社会生活中 ,人与人之间离不开相互交流。在交际中讲话人必须要顾及对方的脸面 ,才能使交际愉快而顺利地进行 ,这就是言语交际中的礼貌现象。礼貌的实现手段主要有赖于语言 ,本文旨在讨论英语中礼貌请求的语言表达手段和礼貌级差对表达手段的影响。

| Abstract: | Every day people communicate with each other. In communication, the speaker must show much respect in order to make a pleasant and smooth communication. Language is one device used for politeness. This paper attempts to discuss how to express polite requests in English. Furthermore, it also analyses the influence of politeness scale over the expression devices. |
