| 摘 要： | 本文是对“good”一词在一个文件中英汉翻译的个案研究。该研究把话语分析中的上下文分析和翻译中语篇对等的理论应用于翻译实践,力图探索上下文分析在实现翻译语篇对等方面的作用。“good”一词在该文件中存在很大的理解障碍,通过上下文分析,笔者将其解释为不可数名词用作了可数名词,表示一具体事例。在翻译中,该词又存在零对等的翻译困难。通过上下文分析,运用语篇对等理论,笔者造了一个新词———“利物”与“good”一词实现语篇对等。

| Abstract: | Based on a case investigation on translating the word "good" from English to Chinese in a given document,this article attempts to apply the theories of co-text analysis and textual equivalence to translation practice and explores to what extent co-text analysis helps realize translation equivalence textually,or in other word intertextually.The word "good" in the original text presents understanding difficulty.By co-text analysis,the author interprets it as an unaccountable noun used as an accountable noun for expressing a specific case.There also exists translation difficulty of nil equivalence.By application of co-text analysis and textual equivalence,however,the author manages to code a new Chinese word "li wu",which helps realize textual equivalence. |
