| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体,不同民族的语言使世界上的文化呈现出千姿百态。动物与人们的生活关系密切,因此,各民族语言中都有大量与动物有关的词汇,英汉两种语言也是如此。英汉两种语言中的动物词汇含义有相似之处,但更多的是不同之处。分析了英汉两种语言中动物词汇含义的三大基本特征,指出了造成这三种特征的渊源。通过比较,人们可以更清楚地感受到英汉文化在动物词语上留下的历史文化差异。有助于到位的理解、恰当的运用并真正领悟英汉语言中的动物文化。并由此得出结论:在进行跨文化交际时,不仅要准确无误的传达语言信息,更要重视隐含在语言里的文化信息传递。

| Abstract: | Language is a cultural carrier.Culture-loaded vocabulary plays an important role in a language.There is close relationship between animals and man's life.For this reason,a lot of words and phrases have something to do with animals in Chinese and English vocabulary.Some of these words and phrases in the two languages have the same meanings,but most have different connotations.In this paper,the author divides these words and phrases into three categories based on the interrelation between them and their meanings in the two languages,and points out the origins of the three categories of words and phrases.With the comparison,we can clearly see the cultural marks of animal words because of cultural differences,Moreover,it will help to achieve thorough understanding,a proper command and a solid grasp of animal culture in Chinese and English language.Thus it draws a conclusion that we should pay more attention to the conveying of the implied information when we transmit language in cultural communication. |
