| 摘 要： | 太平天国运动充分利用了宗教信仰来组织，发动群众，进行革命斗争，但宗教信仰在运动中所起的消极作用是十分明显的。经与传统化不相融，得不到中国民众的支持，不能联合更多的反清团体，反而成为太平天国领导集团争权夺利的工具。宗教迷信是太平天国失败的一个重要原因。

| Abstract: | The revolution of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (1851-1864) organized and aroused the people by using their religious faith. However its negative influence was obvious: it did not agree with the traditional culture and failed to win support from the people; it could not unite more groups of anti-Qing government but only became means by which the leaders of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom struggled for their rights and benefits. In a word, religious believes accounted mainly for the failure of the revolution of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. |
