| 摘 要： | 习语的产生与存在受其特有的历史文化背景制约,所以研究英美习语要从历史的、文化的角度去分析。追根溯源,习语主要来源于宗教、神话传说、寓言故事、风俗习惯、历史事件、文学作品、名人轶事等方面,从中反映出英美文化的许多文化内涵。
