| 摘 要： | 戠和烕,学术界传统的说解无论是本义还是字形的认定都有缺憾。本文通过“戠”字和以“戠”为声符的金文的字形结构分析,初步认定“戠”字字形像树于日光下的短橛,本义是测日影定方位的标竿。而“烕”字,从古文字形上看并不从火,而是从“大”,从戌。并据此推导出现今人们尚以为是徽号的作斧钺下一人张大四臂之状的字,就是烕的古文字。

| Abstract: | The interpretation of denotation and shape of two classic Chinese characters"zhi and mei"in academic circle is far from being perfect.Based on the analysis of the structure of their shape inscribed on ancient bronze objects,a preliminary conclusion is reached that"zhi"is shaped like a short wooden stake in the sun and its denotatioin refers to a surveyor's pole for measuring the shadow of the sun and determining direction;whereas the character"mie",if judged from its shape,is not subordinate to"huo",but to "da"and "xu",thus another conclusion is reached that "mie"is shaped like a person spreading out his arm under an axe and a battleaxe,however people still regard it as a sign even today. |
