| 摘 要： | 通过从陈嘉庚高等教育办学实践探究其办学思想的基本特征与办学特色，得到十点结果，即：科教兴国的先行者；坚定执著的办学信念和竭殚心力的办学精神；慎择校长，广延名师，注重师资队伍建设，学校、校长自治的高等教育思想；德、智、体三育并举全面发展的高等教育思想；有教无类的社会平等思想；教学、研究、应用与服务社会三结合的高等教育思想；理论与实践相结合办高等教育的思想；以嘉庚建筑风格为特色的校园建筑文化。

| Abstract: | The views by Chen Jiageng on higher education can be categorized with the following ten basic features and characteristic: pioneer in developing the country scientifically; insisting on and striving for its own educational beliefs; choosing its head(president) with careful consideration and embracing well-known teachers, giving emphasis on teachers development and maintaining president autonomy; co-development in moral, intellectual and physical education; equal attitude towards students; combination of teaching, researching and serving the society; theory into practice; campus culture with Jiageng-styled architecture environment. |
