| 摘 要： | 2013年6月5日，国务院发布了《通用规范汉字表》，这个字表是在此前规范第一次发布近60年、重新发布近30年后，经过12年研制完成的。它在过去规范的基础上，用更为科学和有效的方法，获得大量的数据，采字和整理字际关系都有较为准确的量化数据作为依据。《字表》考虑到汉字发展规律和社会应用的现实，从我国社会主义新文化建设的需要出发，将过去的多个字表汇集在一起，便于查检、使用。本文进一步讨论《字表》研制的时代背景和《字表》发布在新时代的重要意义。也再次论证字表保持稳定的重要意义。
