| Abstract: | This article analyses the diverse reflections of three expressiveness-pursuing calligraphers due to their different characters, starting from the differences among three representatives for expressiveness-pursuing calligraphers in the Northern Song Dynasty They are Su Shi, Huang Tingjian and Mi Fu. By summarizing the features of expressiveness-pursuing calligraphy, this paper introduces the influence of this aesthetic preference on the history of the calligraphy. |
