| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体，亦是文化的一面镜子，而社会文化又制约着人们的言语交际与非语言交际活动。在跨文化交际活动中，交际失误尤其是语用——语言失误和社交——语用失误的例子屡见不鲜。究其原因，主要表现在交际活动的参与者缺乏对中西方文化差异的正确认识与把握。因此，在英语教学过程中，将语言知识的学习与文化知识的获得有机的结合起来就显得尤为重要。

| Abstract: | Language is a cultural bearer as well as a mirror reflecting culture itself, whereas culture dominates human being's verbal and non - verbal communication. Cross - cultural communication sees many examples of communication failures such as pragmalinguistic failure and socio - pragmatic failure, which owe a lot to the lack of understanding of both Chinese culture and western culture. Thus it makes sense for language skills and culture to be perfectly integrated into language teaching and learning. |
