| Abstract: | The Great Gatsby exposes the representative figures' human nature of falseness, indifference and selfishness, under the cult of gold-worship's trend. When the novel makes its character delineation, its words and plots are humorous and vivid. At the same time it uses such writing techniques as the "double field of vision" and the"beauty of blankness",which shows the rich double charm of idea and art. |
