| 摘 要： | 修辞在人们传递信息和进行言语交际中发挥着越来越重要的作用。为此，文章选取了英语中常见的辞格之一——metaphor来试析，从对比的角度探索英汉暗喻的异同，认为英语辞格涵盖了除明喻以外的所有汉语比喻方式。

The paper adopts the view that metaphor covers all Chinese figures of speech except simile . |
