| 摘 要： | 吴贻芳是我国现代女教育家，我国第一所女子大学校长，也是中国第一位女校长；杨荫榆也是我国现代女教育家，我国第一所女子师范大学的女校长。比较我国现代史上这两位早期女大学校长的人生经历、学校管理思想与实践及其功过是非，对认识中国现代教育尤其是女子教育发展的历史，揭示地方文化对人才成长的影响具有重要意义。
