| 摘 要： | 英语动词短语被广泛地认为难以掌握,过去一直认为它们是任意组合起来的语言现象,动词和小品词的组合似乎无理可循,只能通过死记硬背的方法来学习.然而,认知语言学家却认为动词短语的组合是有理据的,可以分析并加以系统化.这篇文章通过把小品词out的意义范畴化,探索了和它组成的短语动词的认知理据.

Cognitive Linguistic Motivations of English Phrasal Verbs Attached the Particle of OUT |

| Abstract: | It is widely believed that English phrasal verbs are particularly difficult to master because the choice of verb-particle combinations seems so unsystematic,which in the past has been regarded as arbitrary items of language that must simply be learned by heart,i.e.rote memorization. According to cognitive linguistics,however,those combinations are motivated factually and can be analyzed and systematized.In this article,the particle of OUT,taken as a typical example,is analyzed to explore cognitive linguistic motivations of its phrasal verbs. |
