| Abstract: | Based on the principles of linguistics and phonology, this paper explores the singing training methods for students in the Cantonese region,who have difficulty in learning vocal music caused by dialects.By comparing and identifying the vowels and terminal vowels between Mandarin and Cantonese,the author holds the view that the cause affecting the singing of students in the Cantonese region mainly lies in the articulation of vowels and nasal terminal vowels.With the analysis of articulation of these vowels,the obstacles in articulating these sounds are also illustrated.Solutions are put forward from three aspects. |
