| 摘 要： | 威廉·福克纳的《献给爱米丽的一朵玫瑰花》描述了在没落的以男权为绝对中心的美国南方社会,女主人公爱米丽努力想摆脱传统世俗的束缚,追求自己的爱情和幸福,但同时又摆脱不了传统女性的影子与世俗的偏见,终究坠入悲剧深渊的过程.文章通过爱米丽这一典型人物分析,揭示了"女性"这一角色在美国当时南方社会背景下对于世俗的反抗以及保持自身尊严的坚韧不拔的意志,鞭笞了没落的世俗观念,富有启示意义.

| Abstract: | One of the most frequently anthologized stories by Faulkner,"A Rose for Emily" is the remarkable story of Emily.This fiction describes a story which happened in the southern part of America where the male held the centered power.Although Emily struggled to pursue her love and rights,she couldn't get rid of the social control.At last,she has to compromise to the reality and fell into the tragedy.This paper uses Emily's story to illustrate the struggle of female to the mundane society and their persistence for dignity. |
