| 摘 要： | 本文提出了一个使用考生录取数据估计学校专业吸引力的概率模型,并用北京大学2000—2004年的录取数据,估计了北京大学录取专业的“热门”程度。在所有考察的33个录取专业中,理科类专业的吸引力属于前列,社会科学类专业其次,而传统人文类专业吸引力位于后列。

| Abstract: | This paper proposes a probabilistic model to estimate the desirability of college majors. Using the matriculation data of students in Peking University in 2000-2004,the author estimates the desirability of 33 majors in the elite university. The author finds that the desirability in different fields is distinctive. The majors in science are most attractive and majors in humanity are less desirable. |
