| 摘 要： | 当代隐喻理论认为隐喻是认知世界的基本方式,人类的思维是隐喻式的。在对死亡的认知上,汉英两种语言表现出了极大的共性以及各自所具有的独特性。本文正是在这一基础上试图通过对《红楼梦》及《三国演义》里死亡译例的分析来探讨在相同映射条件下及不同映射条件下译者对翻译策略的选择。

| Abstract: | The contemporary thoery of metaphor regards that metaphor is the basic way to conceptualize the world and human being's thinking is basically metaphorical.The conceptualization of death is both universal and variant across Chinese and English culture.Based on its universality and variation,this article aims to discuss the different strategies a translator might choose under the similar mapping condition and different mapping condition. |
