| 摘 要： | 卢作孚是近代中国建设现代化事业的先行者之一.他创办的民生实业有限公司展露了经济现代化的无限生机,他开拓的现代北碚显现了乡村现代化的魅力前景,成功演绎了经济与教育在社会建设中的双重变奏.卢作孚在北碚成功进行的民众教育现代化建设实践,展现了"教育是民生之基"这一命题在乡村向市镇转型过程中的独特历史意义.
