| 摘 要： | 荆州民间信仰中,有悠久的巫鬼信仰与祠祀传统。荆楚民众宗教信仰,有非常强的功利性。万物有灵,能够影响生活的人、物和事都可能成为敬畏和祭祀的对象。善者求其保护和赐福;恶者小心供奉,以求免予其侵扰,不作恶一方,消灾免祸。关羽生前威镇一方,却死于非命。在民间的巫鬼观念中,自然满腔怨气,变为厉鬼复仇,且因其是武将,力量强大,破坏力更大,更加令人畏惧,在民众中的影响更深远。而关羽自身有许多民众敬重、向往和渴求的品质,促使关羽在荆州民间的形象向善的正面方向转化,最终使荆州民间对关羽的畏惧转化为崇拜。从而使得佛教、道教等宗教在传播中也需要借助其影响,因此关羽崇拜进入主流文化,走向全国。

| Abstract: | As for folklore religion, there is a long history in Jingzhou. Followers are very utilitarian. Some pray for blessing, some beg for exempting from the evil. Guan Yu, a proud son of heaven, died an unnatural death, therefore, in believers＇ eyes, Guan Yu will become devils to revenge. Meanwhile, owing to Guan Yu＇ s exellent quality, the great image is setting up and becoming into worship of Guan Yu, which is helpful to the dissemina- tion of Buddhism and Taoism. Guan Yu worship is becoming the mainstream culture in China. |
