| Abstract: | Nowadays, there is an increasing demand for simultaneous interpreting in China. This article is a general introduction to simultaneous interpreting. It introduces the definition and the process of interpreting as well as the basic requirements for an interpreter. On the basis of the working experience, the author proposes the general principles and techniques for simultaneous interpreting and then provides a practical self-training method. |
