| 摘 要： | 杜威“堪称美国20世纪首要的民主哲学家”,是美国现代教育史上最有影响的人物之一,对美国和世界20世纪的教育理论和教育实践产生了深远影响。在其民主教育哲学中,民主不仅是教育的“一个理想的标准”,而且是一个教育的原则、方针和政策。教育是实现民主的“首要的工具”、“第一的工具”。两者相互影响,相辅相成。

| Abstract: | Dewey,"the primary democratic philosopher of the 20~(th) century America",is also one of the most influential figures in modern American history of education,whose philosophy affects the 20~(th) century education theory and practice in both America and the whole world.According to his democratic education philosophy,democracy is not only "an ideal standard" for education but also the principle,aim and policy.Education is the primary tool and "first tool" to realize democracy.The two affect and interact each other. |
