| Abstract: | This essay states the necessity of promoting the non-English majors'competence in thinking in English from the perspective of language,thought and culture.It also discusses the main factors influencing their competence.At the same time some feasible suggestions are offered to English teachers on how to teach English culture in its language,and how to have students study English in its culture till they master language ultimately. |
