| 摘 要： | 随着中国加入WTO,双语教学成为高校教学改革的切入点之一。文章主要从适应世界经济全球化发展、教育国际化发展、改善外语教学效果、增强教师教学科研能力、满足学生未来发展的需要五个方面阐述地方高校开展双语教学的必要性。

| Abstract: | Following the entrance of China into WTO, bilingual teaching has been become one of the key points in teaching reform in universities and colleges. The paper is intended to discuss necessity of bilingual education in local colleges from the following five aspects: the globalization of economy, the internationalization of education, English teaching reform, the improvement of teacher's ability of teaching and scientific research, and students' future development. |
