| Abstract: | Conclusion Head Start is in a position to evaluate its successes and failures of the last 20 years, to assess the needs of low-income children and their families in the eighties and nineties, and to plan ahead for another 20 years of successful operation. We must take this challenge seriously, because if we don't our program will not meet the needs of our society, and therefore it will die.
