| 摘 要： | 英汉两种语言都有着丰富的习用性比喻，但喻体的运用却存在很大差异。本从化角度，通过分析地域环境、事物的联想意义、学典故以及音韵效果四方面的不同来探讨两种语言中明喻喻体差异的成因，从而克服跨化交际中的障碍。

| Abstract: | Both English and Chinese are rich in metaphors, but the applications of vehicles in the similes are quite different. From the angle of culture, this paper has analyzed four different aspects: the geographical environment, associations, allusions and phonetic effects, so as to probe into the reasons of the difference of vehicles in the similes of these two languages, thus to overcome the barrier in the intercultural communication. |
