| Abstract: | This is a study of university moral and civil education on undergraduate level in the USA. Should university take moral and civil education as one of its missions? This is a question that has been argued for a long time even in America. This paper reviews both the arguments in American academic society and the history of moral and civil education transition in American colleges and universities. This study is conductively to reflect the present status of civil and moral education in Chinese colleges and universities. |
