| 摘 要： | 从女性主义的角度看,《红字》是一部有关女性解放的小说。小说精彩呈现了女主角海斯特白兰与牧师丁梅斯代尔之间悲壮的爱情故事,并批判了当时的清教社会对海丝特白兰的压迫及对丁梅斯代尔的精神摧残。故事中的海斯特白兰顽强地反抗不合理的婚姻制度,向往并积极争取真正的美好的爱情,崭新地呈现了一位不畏清教桎梏统治的新女性。该文试从女性主义角度分析当时的社会是怎样对海丝特进行影响以及社会影响与女性解放之间不可分割的关系。

| Abstract: | From the point of feminism, The Scarlet Letter is a novel about Women Emancipation. This novel represented the wonderful and tragic love story between the heroine Hester and the hero Dimmesdale brilliantly, and it also criticized the oppression of Puritanism to Hes ter and spiritual persecution to Dimmesdale in that time. The heroine in the novel reacted the unreasonable institution of marriage, looked forward to the true wonderful love, represented a woman with new image who were brave to react the fetters of Puritanism. This article analyses how the contemporary society influenced heroine and the inalienable relationship between Social Influence and the Women Eman cipation. |
