| 摘 要： | 图书馆建筑受到许多因素的制约,其中尤为关键的是图书馆的使用方式。民国时期国立北平图书馆在服务平民教育的理念下,新馆建筑从定位到机制都进行了革新。这些革新为其发展成为民国时期中国最有影响的公共图书馆奠定了坚实基础。
