| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the plot's constitute of "completive pattern" and "determined pattern", which are represented by Caiyan's Poetry of Grief and Indignation and Ancient poetry for Jiao Zhongqing'wife. The paper also discusses the two patterns' influence to the narrative poetry of later ages. |
