摘    要:人文学科是通识教育的重要组成部分,它具有不可替代的独特意义。人文学科的灵魂是理性,人文学科特有的价值理性精神与源远流长的非功利的自由教育传统是一致的,这种非功利主义并没有脱离现实,而恰恰是从更高远的位置上服务于现实,这与通识教育目标不谋而合。同样地,作为大学最重要的社会职能,从启蒙时代开始倡导的理性批判活动必须有赖于人文通识教育来完成。

Abstract:As an important part of general education, humanities have played an irreplaceable role. Reason is the soul of humanities. The Value reason spirit is according with the non - utilitarianism free education tradition which has a long history. Such a non - utilitarianism has not separated from the reality, but serviced the reality in a higher position, and happened to have the same view with the goal of general education. Similarly, as the most important social function of university, the rational crisis which has practiced since the enlightenment must depend on the activity of humanistic general education.
