| 摘 要： | 通过文献资料法、历史研究法，对麦克乐在中国近代体育早期的传播和发展过程中所做的贡献进行了全面的梳理和归纳总结：麦克乐在华期间大力倡导自然体育思想，加速了中国近代体育传播的进程；为中国培养了大批体育专业人才，奠定了近代中国学校体育发展的基础；创设全国体育研究会，加强体育学术研究工作；创建民间体育组织，推动了中国近代民众体育和体育竞赛的开展；麦克乐是中国近代体育史上的一位重要人物，对中国近代体育早期的传播和发展产生了巨大的影响。因此，在麦克乐先生逝世五十周年之际，认真回顾和总结麦氏的体育思想和实践，对于进一步提高体育教育质量，对于进一步激发进取和奉献精神，是具有深刻的现实意义的。

| Abstract: | On the base of collecting and arranging related data by Historical research and analysis method ,the author have come up with the following conclusions ： McCloy advocated the natural physical education and accelerated the spread of modem sports in China. He trained a large number of sports professionals, and laid the foundation of school sports development. He pioneered Chinese sports academic research through publishing books and journal. He established non - governmental sports organizations and organized a variety of sports competition, which promoted the development of modem sports competition in China. McCloy , eminent in our country＇ s modem sports history , made a great deal of contribution to the initial process of propagation and development of physical edu- cation in modem china. It is profound significance that we carefully review and summarize McCloy＇s sports thinking for further improvement of the physical education quality for further inspire the spirit of creativity and dedication. |
