| Abstract: | Amy Tan is one of the most influential American Chinese writers in America today. The Joy Luck Club, which brings her into fame, is a masterpiece in American Chinese literature. The novel tells about the miserable life of four Chinese mothers and its influence on their American daughters. The writing attempts to explore the immense influence of the misery on the daughters from the perspectives of education and marriage. |
