| Abstract: | There are about 350 verses written for prostitutes in "All Verses in the Yuan Dynasty". This paper expounds the verses written about the prostitutes' appearance, artistry, love, circumstances, relations with scholars and the verses made by prostitutes, and tries to ascertain the social reason for composing the verses. |
