| 摘 要： | 从《红楼梦》中的匾额翻译出发，以杨宪益，戴乃迭和霍克斯两个最具代表性的英译本为基础，主要从语义，语法，民族色彩和美学四个角度比较分析两个译本中存在的超额翻译和欠额翻译现象，并指出这种现象存在的原因，同时提出一些避免或减少这一现象的方法和策略。
