| Abstract: | Corpus-based vocabulary research provides an effective access to the information of learners’ vocabulary knowledge.Especially when contrasted with native speaker corpus,it shows more clearly the deviation to native speakers,and offers effective feedback to teachers.The authors search the collocation "study hard" in both CLEC as learner corpus and BROWN as native speaker corpus,and find that Chinese learners tend to overuse the phrase and lack variety in using the collocation when expressing the corresponding meaning. |
