| 摘 要： | 从明代湖南乡试的中举人数在时间分布来看,明代前期和中期湖南地区中举人数所占合闱乡试的湖广省的一半左右,后期则相对减少了很多;从空间分布来看,湖南各府的中举人数基本均衡,但是各县内举人数额则差异较大。在与湖北的举人和进士数额进行比较后,我们可以清楚地发现明代湖南科举相对落后。

| Abstract: | According to the time distribution of Juren successful in Hunan provincial examination duing Ming dynasty, the number of Juren in Hunan area accounts for about half of the total number of Juren in Huguang province during the earlier and middle period of Ming dynasty, but relatively reduces in the later period. From the space distribution, it can be found that the distribution of Juren is quite balanced among prefectures of Hunan area, while there is a sharp difference among counties. Compared with the number of Juren and Jinshi in Hubei province, it can be concluded that Hunan relatively lags behind in imperial examinations duing Ming dynasty. |
