| 摘 要： | 阐述林纾翻译救国的动机及其译介西洋文学所体现的思想,对比论述了林纾翻译思想与福建精神的相似性和融合性:林纾的翻译报国思想体现了他爱国爱乡的赤子丹心;为开启民智和博取群长而翻译体现了他海纳百川的宽广胸襟;在不谙外文的情况下,通过翻译捍卫中国文化,体现他敢拼会赢的大无畏精神;用翻译稿酬从事慈善,体现他乐善好施的高尚情操。最后,揭示林纾翻译思想研究的现实意义。

| Abstract: | With a brief introduction of Lin Shu’s ideas of translating western novels,similarity between his idea of translation and Fujian spirits and their fusion are explored.Lin Shu endeavoured to translate western novels and introduce them to Chinese people to save his country,which showcases his patriotism.He translated a large number of western novels to assimilate diversified progressive and advanced foreign elements as enlightment to upgrade the Chinese people’s wisdom,which indicates his broad mind.He worked hard to protect the Chinese culture via translating in classic Chinese despite that he had never learned any foreign language,which illustrates his dauntless spirit.He engaged himself in various charitable activities with his translation incomes,which indicates his philanthropic-minded moral character.The realistic significance of the study on Lin Shu’s idea of translation is also discussed. |
