| 摘 要： | 简.爱和斯佳丽分别是英国经典小说《简·爱》和美国家喻户晓的长篇小说《飘》中的女主人公。她们是世界文学宝库中生活于19世纪的两个灼灼生辉的女性形象。当深入她们迥异的自我实现的人生历程并加以比较时,我们认识到:简.爱只能假扮成一个屈服者,而斯佳丽则注定要成为一个纯粹的反叛者。从三个方面展开论述:1)陈述对简.爱作为假扮的屈服者和斯佳丽作为纯粹的反叛者的不同定位。2)通过比较她们不同的自我实现的人生历程来着重说明她们不同定位的形成过程及其必然性。3)通过挖掘两位女主人公和她们各自的作者之间的联系来解释形成她们不同定位的原因。

| Abstract: | Jane Eyre is the heroine of the same-named British classic novel and Scarlett is the leading role of the American household novel Gone With The Wind.They are two striking women characters of the 19th shining in the world literature.When I look into their different journeys of self-fulfillment and make a comparison between them,I just find out that Jane Eyre can simply be a disguised yielder and Scarlett is destined to be a sheer rebel.To support the thesis,the paper is developed into three major parts.The first part deals with the statements of their different positions as a disguised yielder and a sheer rebel.The second part concentrates on their respective processes of developing into different positions by making a comparision between their different journeys of self-fufillment.The third part presents the connections between the characters and their respective creator to explain why such two different positions come into being. |
