| Abstract: | The delicate elegance of the poetry is to express the poets' internal feelings with rich and colorful cultural imagery,which carries the unique national and cultural connotation.Therefore,understanding the core of the poems lies in comprehending the cultural connotation in them.Through the introduction of the imagery theory in Chinese and western poems,this paper aims to leave a rough comprehension of cultural connotation to the readers. |
