| 摘 要： | 面对大学生人文素质状况和高校外语教学人文精神弱化的现象,在21世纪的英语教学中,充分发挥英语语言的人文教育功能,加强对学生人文素质的教育具有重要的地位与作用。这既顺应了英语教学改革的趋势,又符合21世纪我国高等教育全面推行素质教育的战略目标。

| Abstract: | According to the situation of college students’ human qualities and the weakness of humanism in English teaching, this paper makes a point that it is significant to enhance the education of humanism in 21 century by making full use of the function of humanistic education in English language. It conforms to the trend of college English teaching reform as well as the objective of carrying out humanistic education in all-round way in higher education in 21 century. |
